St. Lawrence Market - Front StreetSt. Lawrence Market, located at Front and Jarvis, is a popular destination with toronto locals who want to buy a variety of fresh food. The Market is a historical destination and attraction in it's own right. Coupled by the opportunity to buy products which are not often found in many grocery stores adds to make St. Lawrence market a popular destination for shopping in Toronto. Across from the St. Lawrence Food Market, on the north corner of Jarvis and Front you can find antiques and collectibles being sold every Sunday at the St. Lawrence Sunday Antique Market. The following video entitled St. Lawrence Sunday Antique Market, Toronto by YouTube member 465sackville gives information about the St. Lawrence Antique Market. To the west of St. Lawrence market is a number of restaurants including Spring Rolls, and The Hot House. There is also a theatre in the area called the Market Square, which has it's ticket price lower that most movie theatres. At Church and Front, I find one of the best views of the city. Here is the photo of it below: The St. Lawrence Market and surrounding area is well worth a trip.
