I believe Toronto is a cultural mecca, comprising of people from around the world who have come to live in the city I am proud to call home. Individual cultures have carved niches in parts of the city and made those parts known to Torontonians and those in the "know" about Toronto as their neighbourhoods. For example Toronto has it's own Greek Town and Little Italy.

Cultural attractions in the City of Toronto, include a number of annual festivals and events such as Pride, Taste of the Danforth, the Toronto International Film Festival and Scotiabank's Nuit Blanche.

Toronto has a great public transit system, called the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) as well as a large number of cabs to assist in getting visitors and locals around the city.

Toronto has a plethora of shopping, live entertainment, great places to eat and stay. Toronto also, thankfully, for such a huge city has a lot of green space in the forms of parks. Toronto can be visited on a large budget and enjoyed and even visited on a much tighter budget.

I honestly love Toronto and I am proud to live here. For more information about Toronto, from a Toronto local who loves Toronto, please navigate your way through DorasToronto.com.
